The coya was the queen of the Inca empire. This cosy double room has a carved wooden bed against a soft blue-grey wall with a decorative niche, a skylight between the wooden beams and dark wooden floors.
It opens onto the rooftop terrace, with views of the mountains around Ollantaytambo. Intimate and full of Andean character, with a private bathroom with hot water.
Like every room at Parwa & Iskay, it is in the Qosqo Ayllu, the original Inca quarter of Ollantaytambo, a five-minute walk from the main square and ten minutes from the train station to Machu Picchu. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included.
