Parwa & Iskay Hotel on a cobblestone street in Ollantaytambo
Our story

Two family houses, one home

More than twenty years welcoming travelers in Ollantaytambo.

2002 · Hostal Iskay

It all began as a family project with one idea: welcome every guest the way we welcome family. “Iskay” means “two” in Quechua.

2008 · Parwa Guest House

Jorge created Parwa and decorated it himself, piece by piece, so that guests would find not just a bed but a place to make unforgettable memories.

2019 · Parwa & Iskay Hotel

Both houses joined forces, bringing together the best of each with one mission: unique experiences, quality service and genuine comfort for every traveler who walks through our doors.

Parwa & Iskay Hotel

Our family

Mamá Cristina and Dunia

Mamá Cristina Condori and Dunia Condori have lived their whole lives in this house. Jorge, Cristina’s son, organized and rebuilt it, and created both hotels — Hostal Iskay and Parwa — always with them close by.

Their warmth is still the heart of the house, and the reason so many guests say they felt at home.

Ollantaytambo Inca ruins

Qosqo Ayllu

A living Inca neighborhood

Ollantaytambo is one of the few towns in Peru that still keeps its original Inca layout. Our hotel is in the Qosqo Ayllu, among ancient stone enclosures called kanchas, cobblestone streets and the Inca water channels that still run through town.

The fortress and the main square are five minutes away on foot, and the train station to Machu Picchu is ten.
